In the middle of the beautiful Drenthe countryside, near the centre of the cosy village of Westerbork, lies Holiday Park "Het Timmerholt". A spacious park, with a wide range of luxurious detached houses with plenty of privacy.

All houses are non-smoking and offer good box-spring beds, ensuring your good night's sleep.

Our holiday homes are divided into group :

comfort   = simply a very complete holiday home with good internet,
                  fully equipped kitchen (always a dishwasher)
luxury      = As above, but in addition always a private sauna in or near the house.
wellness = As above, but in addition an outdoor spa and a fireplace
                  at and in the house.

The holiday park is located around its own, very fish-rich lake. You can walk and cycle directly from the holiday park. Within half an hour's drive you can reach the cities of Emmen, Assen and Hoogeveen. Even the centre of Groningen can be reached in 40 minutes!
Almost all our holiday homes are located directly by the water, so your holiday will be surrounded by peace and quiet.

The Hondsrug, the Balloërveld, Fochteloërveen, there is so much to discover! The Doldersummerveld, the Drouwenerzand, the Gasterse Dunes and the Holtingerveld turn completely purple in late summer. And Mantingerveld and Sleenerzand are great for walking and cycling. Kotom ; Drenthe overflows with nature.
